It's hard to believe we're just 53 days away from Christmas and 52 days away from Finley's 1st birthday!
Some important notables at 10 months...
1. She's a techie. She loves our phones, the remotes and our laptops. We've gotten her her own play phone, play remote and even a Fisher Price laptop. Her laptop has nine buttons, which she finds work best when using her feet to 'type' on them. Today, Jim let her 'type' on his netbook...

2. She only drinks three 4oz. bottles during the day and then one 6oz. late night bottle (Jim will still get her up around 11 or 12 at night to give her a bottle). We know we should be conditioning her to sleep through the night, but either he wakes her up to feed her, or she'll wake up around 4 or 5am. We have the best chance of her sleeping until 7 or 8am if he feeds her a late night bottle. Plus, she'll drink all 6oz., which is helpful since she only drinks 12oz. total during the day now.
3. She's a good eater. We've given her samples of real food and she'll eat pretty much anything. There hasn't been anything she spits out. She likes bananas, shredded cheese, cooked carrots, avocado, scrambled eggs, bread, and mashed potatoes. We still feed her jarred baby food (stage 3). I still haven't bought any baby food with meat in it. The baby food with meat scares me (and makes me gag a little).
4. She definitely says 'mom-mom-mom-mom'. She hasn't quite managed 'dad' yet. I know this is rare. The other day while we were in the car, she was saying 'day-day-day'. I look back and she's looking at her 'Who Loves Baby' photo book and she's looking at a picture of Jim. So I think 'day' is her 'dad'.
5. She's been cruising all around the couch (when she holds on, but will walk around it). She'll also stand completely on her own for a few seconds at a time. I don't think walking is too far off!
6. As much as we've tried to Finley-proof the house, she's still a little pistol. She'll try to get the blinds, the curtains, the lamp... whatever's in her reach. She still doesn't like being told 'no'.
7. She's been going through a spell lately where sometimes she'll cry for 30-40 minutes when we put her to bed. We know she's tired, but she just wants to keep playing.
8. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She started waving her hands and kicking her legs when it comes on. She gets so excited the second Mickey appears on the screen!
9. She's wearing 6-12 month tops and 12-18 month pants.
10. She goes on Friday for her second flu shot (babies have to get two doses).
11. Whenever she spots the cats and tries to talk to them, her voice gets higher. It cracks me up. Also in one of her books, there's a picture of a blue cat. Every single time she sees it, she laughs and makes that same high pitch sound.
12. She loves to "rough-house". That's what Jim calls it when she crawls all over the sofa pillows. Her favorite thing though is to get in the big corner of the sectional and stand up, holding on to the back cushions. Then she'll fall back on to her tush. She'll do this for an hour if we let her. Here she is in action...

13. She still is the most beautiful and amazing thing I've ever seen.
